Keeping Kitschy In Quarantine Times

It's been just over a month since I've last updated the blog, and as you all know, quite a bit has happened all around the world. Though the Etsy shop is still open, Vintage Inspired Marketplace closed back on March 18 - my beautiful booth is like a silent little time capsule over there, waiting to be discovered again when businesses reopen. Until then, my vintage paper world lives on eBay!

Oodles of vintage kitchen ephemera for sale! Check out that old Fluff label!

The lovely cluster above is just one example of many current listings featuring my expansive vintage ephemera & paper collection. I've been purging vintage children's books, magazines, ads, greeting cards, and even a few fashion items. Listings can be found under my personal seller account, Rebemily. Please email me here or there with any questions or interests you have!

Keeping busy in these times is a challenge, too... Aside from dusting the entire house high & low, I've been picking away at business taxes & inventory - you know, the fun stuff. But every now & then, the phone goes *ding* and I do a happy dance because it means another sale of our wickedly kitschy removable wall stickers on Etsy! We've had success with all our styles, from the long black cat to the gold glittered starbursts - and great feedback from our first several sales.

These stickers are made right here in our (very disinfected!) Burlington, VT home and feature a special easy-peel backing that never damages surfaces and comes off clean every time. It is so easy to glam up a space or an object with these - and sizes range from 2" to 13"! We do custom colors, sizes, and even shapes - be creative and contact us with your ideas. You can also visit the entire shop right here on our website by clicking the "Etsy Shop" tab at the top of the page. Be sure to check out our weird homemade vinyl earrings as well! Did I mention they're weird?

A few selections from the Etsy Shop!

As we look forward into the remainder of 2020, Kitschy Business has more energy than ever to achieve our growth goals despite the national crisis. We are thankful to live in a beautiful part of the country with systems in place to support small businesses that are struggling. As we move through this period of retail silence, we're using the time to organize, learn, and improve the flexibility of our business so we can continue to grow and make people happy. Thank you all for your continued support of Kitschy Business and all businesses local to where you are - it is so important now & always. Our best to everyone - from the Kitsch Cave to you!
